what do you drivers think the future of trucking will be like in 10 or 20 years?
Seems like with all this new technology and more that will come, it seems like it will affect trucking quite a bit to me

There is no future in trucking! 👍

That was kind of a joke but there is some truth.

From what I have witnessed today, we got these drivers in automatic trucks that can't back up to save their lives!
Ya' can't shift gears and ya' can't back up? What good are ya'? Nothing but ****ing steering wheel holders out here in the newer addition to the industry and I am not picking on the young bucks here, lots of old guys chasing second careers too!

Hey now!! Backing up is trickier than it appears :cautious:

I had to back an 11’ wide load down a 13’ alley today, that was interesting

oh yea commieforina is governed by two faced racist socialist democraps!!! a bankrupt state!!! they tax restaurants for flower vases on the damm tables :rolleyes-80:
well the cure for that is, no vases, no flowers, no atmosphere music, no candles, no table cloths, no fancy curtains on the windows, bring your own toilet paper, napkins and utensils.....and while they are at it, bring your own food, and cook it first at your house...

that ought to end the CA taxes.

The trucks will be much different in 20 years than what we are used to.

We will still be in the trucks though, even if they can drive themselves down the interstate.

Holding the wheel steady down the highway is the easiest yet most mind numbingly boring part of the job.

I'd outsource that in a heartbeat. I'm looking forward to automated cruise control with minimal intervention to babysit it.

I'll take over when we get off the interstate. It'll be awesome.
