When you wall mount it, you have to put it horizontal so heat transfer can happen properly and it can cool off. Your fan will run with less stress, your cooling fins won’t fill with as much dirt and you won’t fry the inner circuitry.
You should have that breaker in the battery box or in line from the battery before it passes through anything metal so if the wire rubs a hole you don’t burn down the ****ing truck.View attachment 51295
That’s a little crude but the ****ing things in. Still need to heat shrink the cables and mount the circuit breaker. But that’ll have to wait until I’m back at the shop
