back in the early to mid 1970's, my tire supplier had new tires made in Israel...he had a deal, buy 2 and 2 were for free, as a way to get them sold and stay in America.Lol I don't think they even had a warranty.

so the boss bought them, and we put them on his wife's car.
about one month later, car comes to the garage on the hook.
he was pissed, she was pissed.
two tires exploded into tiny little bits of rubber, and the other two were about to open like a zipper.
tire salesman caught hell, so much so, he gave the boss 4 brand new goodyears, free of charge, and paid the tow bill.
i don't believe those Israeli built tires were ever recommend again by that tire dealer.

Back in 1965 I got a credit card....bought four new tires for a pickup....only thing I ever bought with the a credit card....reason it took me forever to get the tires payed off. It was a 1965 Chevy long bed....yea it be worth a few jungles of change....I bet you wish you still had that truck though.
