Has anyone seen the new RULE CHANGE

I don't think company drivers can use this but this could solve lots of problems for owner operators and contractors 🤔 Basically you can use personal conveyance while loaded to leave a customer and get to a safe haven . They still use the term REASONABLE DISTANCE , but I've always been told up to 2 hours is reasonable time frame 🤔
Anyway check out this video from trucking answers . I think it's a legit rule change .... though it's hard to believe they'd allow a common sense rule to go through 🤔

This has been updated on FMSCA website as well :
  1. Time spent traveling to a nearby, reasonable, safe location to obtain required rest after loading or unloading. The time driving under personal conveyance must allow the driver adequate time to obtain the required rest in accordance with minimum off-duty periods under 49 CFR 395.3(a)(1) (property-carrying vehicles) or 395.5(a) (passenger-carrying vehicles) before returning to on-duty driving, and the resting location must be the first such location reasonably available.
