Okay so...Christmas at home went well.
Until the flu kicked in about 330pm.
By them I had most of the toys assembled and batteries installed so I was free to lay on the bathroom floor doubled up in pain and puking my smithfield ham up over and over again.
China owns Smithfield, dumbass.
I meant to tell you that when you posted about getting free ham.

No such thing as a free lunch...
or Christmas dinner for that matter.

First thing you do with a ham is bake it for 6 or 8 hours.
Then you take your hambone up North to get it boiled.

It's a blues thang...
you wouldn't understand.
Marrow is the best part.

Me: Save that hambone!

Her: You going up North?

Me: Hell yeah! You coming?

Her: Well if we stick around here it's gonna spoil.

:)

SEEYA!!

Should have got your flu shot ;)
They were in the DC doing it free when I was in orientation and I declined, saying, "Ain't no way you're injectin me with no mind control nanobots!"

Didn't get much of a reaction...

One thing lacking SEVERELY in this company is a sense of humor.

I just did a GRO load, and at the first stop when they opened the door I asked, "Is this where I drop the unwanted infants?"

"Ummm...I don't...umm...not sure..."

Disappointing really...

Don't ever call on the radio "This is your friendly neighborhood Walmart driver, with a joy, joy load of grocery remix needing a manager at the DSD door please"

"Uhm yeah..........what?"

I just tell them, "I have a (grocery or frozen-dairy) delivery from the DC." then give them five minutes to let me in before I walk around.

Plover. Live loading washer fluid to go back to Beaver Dam.

On the way here I saw a bumper sticker on a Volkswagen.

"BUY LOCAL".

Liberals are awesome.

Started off the day with 8 inches of snow on the hood.

Had to chase a vendor out of a single dock store.

Ran in snow, rain, sleet, freezing rain, more snow, sleet and freezing rain all day.

Then it got windy, to the point where a semi blew over near Rochelle 1 mile south of the exit for the Petro. I got pretty spooked a few times myself...and I don't spook easy cuz of weather.

On the 88 to 39 northbound side, a JB container blew off its chassis and was laying in the ditch. Just the container...the truck and chassis sitting on the shoulder...chuckle chuckle...

Now I'm 45 minutes sitting in the middle of Calumet Ave going into Hammond because the railroad is broken.

So...quite the trying day here in the world of wally...

I guess running for Beaver Dam the last 2 days ain't so bad though. Wife says there's like 10 inches of snow up at home...

I got up this morning to no snow on the step at 6:30.

By the time I returned an hour later, almost 3".

By the time I was ready to leave for milbank SD, it was over 4" almost 5".

US 12 sucked.

Didn't run out of the crap until almost to Sioux falls SD.
