Good. Maybe she can inspire some of these time out parents how it is done right!

I am no different from others my age and those older than myself. My mother would have done the same thing

don't think I would consider her as mom of the year by any stretch, but props for the beat down, kid needed it. Problem is, kid needed much more than that to prevent him from ever considering such a stupid act to begin with.

I disagree.
She has 6 kids and is single parent...
She admitted her son is far from perfect,but I give her the props for knowing right from wrong and trying to instill that in her kids and not just giving up and letting him run wild.

Imagine life in the hood if more of the parents there felt this way.
Of course then, the Al Sharptons of the world would be out of a job.

She must have a pretty good job to afford to raise 6 kids.
