I'm willing to give up trucking if someone is willing to take my rig off of me. I have 2012 FL Cascadia DD15 10sp, 125 SLP. It has 437K miles. I also have combo AL and steel air bagged 48' 96" trailer in decent shape.

    Both for $45K, anyone interested??

Pretty good price for both. If you don't mind me asking why are you hanging up the keys?

Damn. I hope you ain't quitting just because you caught a ticket. That is just paying taxes.
We used to say just the cost of doing bidness.

Yup, I've been hit with an insurance punch: $20K for annual insurance is not cheap for me. It won't knock me out, but it coincides with an extended job offer doing what I used to do. Thought I throw it out there see if anyone will make it easy for me. For sure there's more (financial) opportunity and possibilities being and O/O, no doubt. (But) the risk associated in this industry is more than I'd like to handle.

If no offers, I will continue to take freight and hope to make it.

    EDIT: @Mike , thanks.

I'm not saying I will quit just now. I just wanted to see if anyone is willing take my rig.
I think I will make it as O/O if I keep trying, monthly revenue will more than cover all the operational cost including my minimum wage salary.

I have progressive, I think the underwriter is United Financial Casualty Co. I will look into your links and some contacts I got from OOIDA reps. OOIDA won't insure me directly because I don't have 4 yrs of experience, but sent me some insurance companies that may be able to cover me.

They probably don't want to insure anyone.

When I talked to OOIDA, they said I needed 4 years. Anyone have used NATIC or something like that?

Well, I spent another 5K on the truck. I'm too much in debt to pull out now, so I guess the truck is off the market.

And I have to continue this trucking thing...:( :crash:
