pets can be quite funny from what we once knew as ordinary behavior from them.

we had a cat that liked bananas, drank the watery liquid from an open can of black olives, then would help himself to those olives..!!, licked peanut butter, would sit and wait till someone gave him some pasta and a meatball, but he wouldn't drink or even liked milk or cream..>!!!

    and the funny thing too..??

NO ONE EVER taught him or gave him any of those foods to "try out"....he just got in there and "got-it-done"....

Where I live people have a habit of dumping animals. We try and find homes and what not. The last one apoted us.

I was outside grilling and I had let her in the main yard to get some exercise with Mickey(One of our Dogs). She kept try to get the spice bottle of pepper from off my grill. Now being a believer in teaching through experience I put some in my hand and gave it to her. Who knew I would find a dog who likes red pepper????

I'll give ya' two guesses what her name is now;)

She like Mickey wwill also know your drink over for the ice.

    sorry for your loss.

many of you are so lucky to have had (or still have) pets, be they dogs, cats, birds, etc.

i have allergies and cannot have pets.

and with my work schedule, that too puts a damper on having a pet.

so all of you ENJOY your pets to their fullest.

Me and Bella-Roo were together for 12 years. I don't think I'll ever get over her. At least I hope I don't anyway.

I had a similar relationship with Zoe. I had her from before her eyes were opened, her mother was killed before the litter was weaned. I nursed her and her litter mates, and then found homes for the others.

We never were apart for all her days, she was a loyal companion, smart and protective. More a child than a pet.

She was just shy of her 15th birthday when she died.

That was 5 or 6 years ago, and there is not a day goes by that I do not think of her.

I posted a video of a cartoon duck quacking yesterday.

At the end of the short clip, the screen gets a bunch of "suggested" video preview screens on the embedded player.

    This was one of them.

My dog ran to my side to see what "I" was howling about.
