Day 12 started out with them testing everyone they felt could pass the road test with the scores they have gotten so far. I actually had better score than most was tested and it was clear I still needed more road time with my gears. I sat around most of the rest of the day waiting to get more practice but they really just spent the day doing testing to pass those that could. About half of us still needed more fine tuning.

Well day 10 didn't have much happen. Went on the same route as day 9. Only thing to say about it is my shifting improved, getting more confident in myself and handling the truck. Also watching the rear tandem is being second nature now.

Ah yes, today was a good day. Started out with a shock, they started to test people on skills. And after watching a few students pass... make errors and just do it I ponied up and made my attemp and passed. Got 3 out of 10 points which was damm good for me since I really only tried the alley dock and parrel park once each. 11 points is dis qualified, and you get 3 attemps I think. So I was stooked. Good day for me today. First thing out of the gate, I volunteered to take my Air Brake test then my walk around inspection test. Huge accomplishment for me being this test required me to know quite a few parts of the truck and engine that I had to name off and tell what your suppose to look for. Aced the Air Brake test and only missed 8 from the inspection. AWESOME!

Not much to report about day 6 except that we spent most of the day working on our Air Brake Test and Walk around inspection. For me the Brake test was a brazer as soon as I figured out what each test was for and what caused what. Were short handed instructors this day as well but we were kinda on our own with it. However the walk around inspection of the vehicle is something else for me. As I'm no gear head and seeing the engine, brakes, suspension, tires, hoses bla bla bla on down the line...
