Some thing I have been seeing repeat on different forums.
Seems those who are not for the T.R.U.C.C. Act are the same who did not want HR6630 to pass.
It makes me wonder why?

We are slacking on this one. Come on people.
Are you just going to give up?
Wait and see, That wont work!
We must keep pushing each and every day.
And then double time, Keep it going...........

Remember those who are agaisnt are not waiting.........
keep the letter's and phone call's going...............

A real big and unhappy concern for me is that the Dem's had a rep. from the trucking industry speak for the industry, Does anyone know who it was?
A TEAMSTER !
now who do you think he was speaking for...............
If we don't get back into the game we will be defeated.

I just talked to senators Browns office and was informed that the senate majority leader Harry Reid of Nevada refuses to put it onto the calendar for a vote.

it looks like we need to put pressure on him, I need some help here I cannot find a phone # to contact his office.

we need to get people calling hin and for you people that say it won't do any good remember, popular pressure is what forced a vote on the energy plan,so pressure can work if enoughis brought to bear.

Luna sent me a copy of the letter from her senator so i will post it for her...here it is Luna...

Dear Mrs. Swartzmiller:

Thank you for contacting me regarding S.2910, the TRUCC Act.

A healthy independent trucking industry is vital to our nation's economy. With gas prices as high as they are, truckers are being squeezed and they are seeing their profit margins disappear. In fact, this troubling phenomenon is occurring across the transportation industry as a whole. I am committed to ensuring that the trucking industry remains strong, without placing an undue burden on its small businesses.

The TRUCC Act is currently sitting before the Commerce committee. I will keep you views in mind when the bill comes up for consideration. Thank you for sharing your views with me, and please do not hesitate to contact me in the future.

P.S. From time to time, I compile electronic news briefs highlighting key issues and hot topics of particular importance to Floridians. If you'd like to receive these e-briefs, visit my Web site and sign up for them at Bill Nelson, U.S. Senator from Florida: eBriefs
