its real short notice but if the truckers could get the word out and go to this event in large enough numbers this could really be something to get the word out and make a serious statement.

you can bet your ass that if I am within range of this I will be there and hopefully a lot of other truckers will be too.

it also says that you can send comments so lets get to writing and get the word out, this is something that can really help

For those who are able to attend, please, please, please if you have the chance, don't forget about our retired Americans, some of whom have served our country in the military. I know the truckers' crosses have been already heavy with these rip off prices that you and all drivers have been paying, but our elderly are so scared about heating for this winter. Some have already been choosing between food/meds/gas. This is America...we cannot forget about them. I will also send an email to that address. Thank you.

I think that is a very good idea. I encouraged people to send in comments as well. So hopefully some of them will come up with the same thing you just did and add more to it.
