I do realize that there are many problems in the trucking industry but that will take a great deal of time to work on these issues that must be addressed and just like the TRUCC Act will probably just be stuck in committee. It is the fuel prices that are destroying this country and putting everyone out of business. Think about when you hear that another company is going under and the reason is "Fuel Prices" everytime. I have said this as many others have, if we don't get the fuel prices under control we are not going to have to worry about the trucking industry. |
I am sitting back and listening. Don't just assume I will be disappointed. I am open to looking at any plan of action and supporting it if I agree with it.
I agree that fuel prices are a major problem, and that is a primary concern that needs to be addressed nationwide.
At the same time, fuel prices are a problem due to many other problems that have gone ignored for the last couple decades. This is why I say any plan that is made needs to be a "long term" plan. Attack the fuel prices, but continue the fight beyond that once you begin to influence the citizens and politicians.
Just throwing some things out there.
Don't think I am disappointed about anything though. Any solid plan for improving things can only be a good thing.
