To Our Elected Representatives,

Professional drivers still continue to be driven into bankruptcy. Companies still continue to go under. American jobs still continue to be lost. More American families continue to lose their homes. These are realities you, Our Elected Representatives, continue to allow with your in-action.

We have taken our voice to the hill and spoke of the actions we need. We continue to impress upon you, Our Elected Representatives, the actions necessary to protect our way of life. We have given you, Our Elected Representatives, the information, and direction, to accomplish the necessary action we need. Millions of American Citizens continue to speak out, and are demanding action to our country’s crisis.

During the week of June 23-27, 2008, you, Our Elected Representatives, once again did nothing to help professional drivers or American citizens. You, Our Elected Representatives, have once again allowed another week of suffering. More jobs have been lost, homes have been lost, businesses have gone under due to our current economic crisis, which can be addressed if you, Our Elected Representatives, would just act. You, Our Elected Representatives, continue to talk but get nothing done to help America. You, Our Elected Representatives, continue to bicker and point fingers instead of coming together in the interest of Americans to get something positive done.

During the week of June 23-27, 2008:

You, Our Elected Representatives, have once again violated your oath to the American people. Have you no shame? Our country’s current economic and energy crisis should take precedence over all other matters. You, Our Elected Representatives, have once again refused to act according to the will of the American People.

We have seen exactly how fast you, Our Elected Representatives, could get something done to address the current crisis our country faces. In one day you, Our Elected Representatives, introduced…put on the floor for vote…and passed legislation. Instead of using this power to act in the interest of America - you, Our Elected Representatives, instead use this power to accomplish nothing. Instructing CFTC to do their job - when it’s obvious they have no intention of acting in the best interest of American Citizens - Instead of directing CFTC to resend letters of no-action and enforce futures over-site authority…you, Our Elected Representatives, only shake your finger at them and say “do your job.” This action of inaction, you, Our Elected Representatives, have taken only resulted in even higher energy prices.

We have seen the continued attempt by Rep. Westmoreland to get the U.S. House to commit to acting according to the will of the American people - only to be ignored by the majority of our Elected Representatives (21 additional representatives have made the commitment this week to America - 191 Reps out of 435 have committed themselves to the American people.)

We have seen you, Our Elected Representatives; authorize the additional spending of millions, if not billions, of taxpayers’ money to subsidize mass transit…refusing to help professional drivers, our economy’s backbone. You, Our Elected Representatives, seem to think that this action is a positive step in helping American citizens. You, Our Elected Representatives, have become transparent in your decision to force Americans to move away from fossil fuels. You, Our Elected Representatives, have demonstrated, through your continued actions, your intentions to force your will upon American citizens. You, Our Elected Representatives, are forcing your will upon American Citizens at any cost…the cost of our great country.


Millions of Americans are speaking out, demanding you, Our Elected Representatives, act according to the will of the American people…whom you, Our Elected Representatives, have taken an oath to serve and protect…only to ignore our demands for action. You, Our Elected Representatives, continue to allow American citizens to suffer at the hands of not only big business, but at the hands of our own government. You, Our Elected Representatives, are destroying our country with your inaction to address the crisis our country faces. Americans are not going to stand for this much longer. Americans are at the edge of losing everything and you, Our Elected Representatives, refuse to act…refuse to unlock our resources; allowing Americans to do something…refuse to realize the destructive nature of your ignorance to our country’s crisis.

Americans need change and we will get the change we need. You, Our Elected Representatives, will act according to the will of American Citizens - or we, American Citizens, will be finally heard on November 4th. We will take action into our own hands and remove from office those Elected Representatives refusing to act according to the will of the American People.

We will remind you, Our Elected Representatives, once again, in the words of our founding fathers and demand you, Our Elected Representatives, act according to the will of the American people. --
…That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. Once again…
Actions Needed Immediately:

1.) We are now demanding you, Our Elected Representatives, to call for an emergency session to address our country’s crisis. Because you, Our Elected Representatives, have wasted valuable time - addressing issues of no importance to our country’s crisis - we are demanding you, Our Elected Representatives, remain in session until these issues are addressed.

2.) The immediate passing of S.2910 & H.R.5977 (TRUCC) to bring transparency to the trucking industry. To put professional drivers in the position of being able to make proper decisions regarding their business. It is only right that a businessman should be given the right to know he is being fairly paid for his services. Remove the broker’s ability to continue to rob our professional drivers…the backbone of this great country’s economy.

3.) The immediate action necessary, as testified by Mr. Greenberger, Mr. Soros, Mr. Ramm and Dr. Cooper, before the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science & Transportation regarding the re-instatement of commodity regulations which existed for 78 years before you, Our Elected Representatives, abandoned/changed those regulations - and as testified by Mr. Gheit, Mr. Diwan, Mr. Masters and Mr. Krapels before the House Energy & Commerce Subcommittee regarding oil speculators and the oil futures market…thus leading up to the current economic crisis America faces today. Testimony has been given by intelligent, competent and knowledgeable individuals. Individuals very much aware of the market they speak about.

4.) A commitment to open your doors to more than special interest groups, large corporations and commission representatives…but to professional drivers, and American citizens, with pertinent input to what’s happening to us. A commitment to pursue listening...acting accordingly to the will of the American people. A commitment to become more aware and active with the American people you, Our Elected Representatives, represent. A commitment to understand the realities of what your decisions on the hill does to the American people.

America is standing on the edge of economic collapse and you, Our Elected Representatives, continue to not take the immediate steps, and action, necessary to protect our country. We are in need and you, Our Elected Representatives, are not doing the job we have elected you to do. We will continue to speak out and demonstrate through slow-downs and protests across the nation. As each passing week goes by which you, Our Elected Representatives, do not get something done…we will continue to grow even larger in number and strength…eventually leading to an America shut-down if necessary.

If you, Our Elected Representatives, do not take the steps, and actions, needed to protect our country - there soon will be no country to protect. As Americans, we have no choice but to demand - once again - you, Our Elected Representatives, put the interests of the citizens of this nation first, and take the necessary steps NOW to stop the impending disaster facing our nation.

Sorry, I know I said that I would be nothing but a silent observer in the future, but I feel someone needs to say something here, and I don't see anyone doing it so I feel I have to.......SS, this is another very professional looking and very informative letter. I'm sure it is impressing someone somewhere, and we all need to thank you for your time and energy used to formulate it. However, I need to ask the question, How many of these letters do you intend to formulate and send to the DC lapdogs before you realize it isn't working. Again, you tell them they haven't done a damn thing to help any of us, and still we aren't doing a damn thing in protest. I believe in your last letter that you wrote on the 22nd, you promised them more slowdowns and protests as a result of their inaction. I know I haven't seen or heard of any increase in slowdowns or stoppages or protests, so I know they aren't seeing any. All they know is that some citizens are sending them letters asking them to do something sometime soon. How much attention do you think they will pay to this letter after seeing absolutely no reprocussions in response to their ignoring the last letter and plea from "WE THE PEOPLE".....Just wondering how long it will take for you to realize that the only way you are going to get not only their attention, but their ACTION, is to SHOW them that "WE THE PEOPLE" have truly had enough and aren't taking any more. I have said it time and time again, and I'm saying it one more time......All the letter writing in the world isn't going to get any changes made or any help for the trucking industry or the other American citizens. Again, sorry, but I feel that needed to be said just one more time......Ya'll have An Awesome Weekend

Bandit...as always, I respect your opinion. I will only respond this week with a simple statement and an answer to your question...nothing more, for it would only be redundant debating beyond that.

You're not seeing the trees from the forest. And I will continue to create these statements until the week before Nov 4th - at which time no further statements will be necessary. If Americans don't get active and do anything...I would at least hope they learn from my persistent statements for action from our elected representatives...that we hold the power to bring about the change of the structure of our government when that government becomes destructive to it's means. If Americans were to show up in force at the polls and vote for the best candidate other than a democrat or republican - American citizens could effectively change the two party control over our government - and thus break the strangle-hold they have upon American citizens.

In demand #3 you could include HR 6330. This bill is simply written, introduced by Dorchack(?) and is almost word for word what Greenberger told them to do on June 3rd.

I think it will be neccessary to include immediate consequences for inaction. Call it threats, bluffs, extortion or whatever these people don't understand or respond to anything else.
I watched them this week and it was like watching a monkey f_ _k a football. They just don't get it how serious and angry we are.

I appreciate your work on the written part, I'm concentrating on the physical action part and hopefully America will wake up before it's too late.

I'm back to doing my own thing on the net..... but with all do respect SS, if your talking about Ron Paul (I'm a Nader fan myself), and I do believe his is a better choice than Hillary Dillary, or Obamalama, it isn't going to happen. Ringing your bell here on this forum and Congress isn't going to cut it, their skin is to thick with oil. All the Congreemen knows your right, but they have another agenda. City, State, and Federal employees including Congress, are making billions for their retirement through hedge funds that are in the oil speculation game, and your not going to get them to do anything to stop that short of an all out revoluation with the army on our side.

I have a response to your last letter but would prefer to email it to you.

I'm not suggesting any specific candidate...only for Americans to go to the polls in full force and vote for anyone but democrat or republican. As to the agenda...I too am very aware of the truth - all aspects. Waking America up to the truth though, is a task which only persistence, and diligent introduction, will succeed at.

I would definitely like to see the response you received.

Just finished reading H.R.6330. The action within this bill is what's needed as a first step towards our energy crisis. But there is some articles which still leaves defining of some issues to the CFTC's authority. This we know is not good. CFTC has issued no-action letters already and refuse to act in the resending of those letters. They are not acting in the best interest of American Citizens...only in the interest of big business. This is obvious to individuals aware of what's happening. Also, the time frames within this legislation allows for 6 months before CFTC is reguired to issue a notice of proposed rulemaking, and 1 year to promulgate final regulations. Americans can not wait a year for action...Americans are currently losing everything.

I need everyone to give their input on whether we site this bill in this weeks statement, or leave the demand as it reads.

You're exactly right SS, debating this anymore would definitely be redundant. I only look back over the years at the voting practices in the past and don't see what you are expecting happening. I don't think you will get the people to come off of their partyline voting practices. I also think that by combineing your email and snailmail communications and my idea of protests and stoppages is the best bet for getting action. I am just wondering where and when the organization of the protests and slowdowns or stoppages is going to take place. All I am hearing about and seeing is the letters. Have An Awesome Day

I don't see anything in post #10 on the "New Convoy to DC" thread rebel. And what is the "something" on July 12th? It is going to take much more than two small incidents to attract enough attention to get action. I don't mean to bust your bubble, but it's going to take something big to show them that we are indeed united and ready to fight for our rights if we have to. You'll can say I'm wrong as long and as many times as you want, but until I see changes being made from any other means, I'm sticking to what I say needs to be done. Have An Awesome Day......

When looking back at past voting turnouts, look at the turnout percentages. Around a quarter +/- of Americans are determining who runs this country. By attempting to reach the other three quarters to actually go vote, and to suggest that three quarters vote for anyone but democrat or republican...Americans could effectively remove the control which currently exists in our government - at the very least expose the corruption within the voting process. When 70%+ of Americans vote independent and a democrat or republican wins...lord only knows what would come of that. This idea does not require the converting of hard-liners...they would be out-numbered. This is my expectations on this issue. As to whether it would be successful will only be evident on Nov 4th.

As to actions and protests, I can only ask for patience. We must be diligent in paying attention to opportunities presenting themselves. Success of any actions will be dependent upon the timing and presentation. I will say this...our government has entered into an agreement with Canada regarding cross-border military support for civil emergencies. This agreement was entered into last February. This indicates to me our government is anticipating uprises in our country regarding what they are doing to America. I could be mistaken in my assessment, but I strongly believe my assessment is highly probable. By staying alert to this possibility, we could attempt to direct such actions towards a positive outcome. And our ability to attempt any such directing will only come from persistent positive action we are currently involved with. We must demonstrate strength and integrity now in order to step into any leadership role which millions would follow.

The reality of a violent revolution to bring about the changes our country needs becomes ever more obvious as each month passes without positive action from our government. Current history dictates, weak organized protest attempts will not be effective. I know we must do whatever we can to effect change - no matter how futile it may seem - but we must learn from the actions we have taken and attempt to find other paths to success. A violent revolution will only have devistating consequences.

We have seen you, Our Elected Representatives; authorize the additional spending of millions, if not billions, of taxpayers’ money to subsidize mass transit…refusing to help professional drivers, our economy’s backbone. You, Our Elected Representatives, seem to think that this action is a positive step in helping American citizens. You, Our Elected Representatives, have become transparent in your decision to force Americans to move away from fossil fuels. You, Our Elected Representatives, have demonstrated, through your continued actions, your intentions to force your will upon American citizens. You, Our Elected Representatives, are forcing your will upon American Citizens at any cost…the cost of our great country.

Millions of Americans are speaking out, demanding you, Our Elected Representatives, act according to the will of the American people…whom you, Our Elected Representatives, have taken an oath to serve and protect…only to ignore our demands for action. You, Our Elected Representatives, continue to allow American citizens to suffer at the hands of not only big business, but at the hands of our own government. You, Our Elected Representatives, are destroying our country with your inaction to address the crisis our country faces. Americans are not going to stand for this much longer. Americans are at the edge of losing everything and you, Our Elected Representatives, refuse to act…refuse to unlock our resources; allowing Americans to do something…refuse to realize the destructive nature of your ignorance to our country’s crisis.

Americans need change and we will get the change we need. You, Our Elected Representatives, will act according to the will of American Citizens - or we, American Citizens, will be finally heard on November 4th. We will take action into our own hands and remove from office those Elected Representatives refusing to act according to the will of the American People.

We will remind you, Our Elected Representatives, once again, in the words of our founding fathers and demand you, Our Elected Representatives, act according to the will of the American people. --

Actions Needed Immediately:

1.) We are now demanding you, Our Elected Representatives, to call for an emergency session to address our country’s crisis. Because you, Our Elected Representatives, have wasted valuable time - addressing issues of no importance to our country’s crisis - we are demanding you, Our Elected Representatives, remain in session until these issues are addressed.

2.) The immediate passing of S.2910 & H.R.5977 (TRUCC) to bring transparency to the trucking industry. To put professional drivers in the position of being able to make proper decisions regarding their business. It is only right that a businessman should be given the right to know he is being fairly paid for his services. Remove the broker’s ability to continue to rob our professional drivers…the backbone of this great country’s economy.

3.) The immediate action necessary, as testified by Mr. Greenberger, Mr. Soros, Mr. Ramm and Dr. Cooper, before the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science & Transportation regarding the re-instatement of commodity regulations which existed for 78 years before you, Our Elected Representatives, abandoned/changed those regulations - and as testified by Mr. Gheit, Mr. Diwan, Mr. Masters and Mr. Krapels before the House Energy & Commerce Subcommittee regarding oil speculators and the oil futures market…thus leading up to the current economic crisis America faces today. Testimony has been given by intelligent, competent and knowledgeable individuals. Individuals very much aware of the market they speak about.

4.) A commitment to open your doors to more than special interest groups, large corporations and commission representatives…but to professional drivers, and American citizens, with pertinent input to what’s happening to us. A commitment to pursue listening...acting accordingly to the will of the American people. A commitment to become more aware and active with the American people you, Our Elected Representatives, represent. A commitment to understand the realities of what your decisions on the hill does to the American people.

America is standing on the edge of economic collapse and you, Our Elected Representatives, continue to not take the immediate steps, and action, necessary to protect our country. We are in need and you, Our Elected Representatives, are not doing the job we have elected you to do. We will continue to speak out and demonstrate through slow-downs and protests across the nation. As each passing week goes by which you, Our Elected Representatives, do not get something done…we will continue to grow even larger in number and strength…eventually leading to an America shut-down if necessary.

If you, Our Elected Representatives, do not take the steps, and actions, needed to protect our country - there soon will be no country to protect. As Americans, we have no choice but to demand - once again - you, Our Elected Representatives, put the interests of the citizens of this nation first, and take the necessary steps NOW to stop the impending disaster facing our nation.
