What does it take for YOU to get mad and fed up with HIGH oil prices?
Here are some facts..
Barrel of oil Sold the highest in recorded history on Friday,
People loosing houses and jobs
People going hungry to fill their tanks
People pawning their heirlooms to get fuel
People stealing and cheating to get by..
If you think this will not effect you..think again..food prices way up..energy prices out of control..it will affect you!
People drove 5% less..gas prices where rising
The cost of crude oil actually fell last week...gas prices where rising
Our government has the means to control this insanity...All they do is discussed it to death..
In a Senate hearing on June 3, 2008 on CSPAN, Economic specialist informed our Elected officals that the fuel prices were not a problem of 'Supply and Demand" but were plain and simply, 'Market Manipulation" and could be corrected overnight. The only way this can be accomplished is for our Elected officials to act to implement the changes suggested to protect Americans from any more needless suffering...BUT it will take a whole nation to be heard..so Please join us..
We came up with a plan..The trucking industry has began a protest..it is called SLOW DOWN WEDNESDAYS..
EVERY Wednesday just drive the MINIMUM speed limit..get the word out ..make signs and stick them on your car..honk, make noise..tell them..
We are NOT Ostriches!! Make our government act..NOW..!!!!
We the people elected them and they Not doing their job!

Maybe we should consider, to take this action to a higher level, the slowing down on ALL roads...interstates, highways and roads. Interstates would be the minimum allowed by law and all other roadways would be 5mph under the posted speed. Remember now, the posted speed is the maximum and travelling 5mph under is not illegal...it's being a responsible and safe driver. It would literally wreak havoc on police forces. They wouldn't be able to hand out speeding tickets...nor would they be able to hand out impeding traffic (too slow) tickets.
