You're right about big companys and union companys luna. If the people here would put the pressure on them, like they are trying to do with the assholes in DC, I think there might be a slim chance of actually getting something done. If you could get the unions, and the big companys that seemingly continue to run no matter what, to park their equipment in protest along with the independants, the rest of the population wouldn't have a choice but to shut down. They wouldn't have anything to work with if there were no trucks to supply them. You people keep sending emails to senators, reps, and other gov. organizations. Don't you think for one second that these people are already aware of what is going on in this country? They all know all about what is happening, and have known for a long time. If you think they are just finding all this shit out now from reading your emails and letters, I have some beachfront property in Az. that I'll sell you real cheap. If these congressmen and reps. gave 2 shits about you, they would have never let this mess get this far to start with. Lunachic has been yelling, screaming, and even crying on every thread here. Ya'll think she is a trouble maker, someone who just wants to yell about something, someone who doesn't want to go with the flow. Well guess what, she isn't any of that. She is a concerned wife of an independent trucker who is about to lose his lifelong business and everything he has, including the ability to support his family. That's why she is yelling, screaming, and crying. Because her husband is out on the road trying to make enough money this week to pay his bills and keep going for just a little while longer. Buying used tires, getting raped by truckstops, just trying to get back home. Yeah, she's crazy,,,crazy with fear that instead of the people in this industry and this country making an honest stand and getting people like her and her family some much needed help right now, not 3, 4, or 6 months from now, they're gonna just sit around and write letters and send emails and hope their congressman decides maybe he or she better try to look like they're doing something. Which is really scarey, because from what I see in the news, there is more fighting and fussing going on about Gay Marriages than there is about independent truckers losing their livelyhoods. She is trying, like some others of us, to tell you all that there are way too many out there that don't have the luxury of just sitting and sending letters and emails hoping to get someone to make some changes 3mo. from now, and then cooking supper, watching a little tv, and going to bed with little or no worries. They are literally fighting for their lives. They are hurting. They can't give their kids the things they would like to. They are having a hard time just feeding them. THEY NEED HELP NOW!!! They can't wait for Washington to get their heads out of their asses. That may very well never happen. Ya'll can get mad at Lunachic, You can get pissed at me, I personally don't care. I just wish I could get you all Pissed enough to get up and do something NOW to help these people before it is too late like it has already been for way too many. I guess I've said enough, and I'm not going to appologize for saying it. Someone had to say it, and I guess I'm the one who needed to get it off my chest first. Bandit, I understand Luna's situation all too well and so do many others here. It breaks my heart and that is what keeps bring me back here to fight everyday. You've had your say many times on this forum and now i'm going to have mine. I RESENT EVERYTHING you said about contacting the government and organiations. You insinuated that we are nieve and stupid, just because you don't see the importance of it, which i will not even waste my breath to explain. Every moment that ANYONE spends trying to make a difference is volunteering their time to fight this injustice, there is no one on a payroll here. Atleast we are trying to do something, which is a hell of alot more than most American's are doing. You sit there and insult people and call them names because they won't do what you want them to do and while you say you are trying to motivate people. Well how's that working out for you so far? Not to damn good. You keep screaming SHUTDOWN, there are only a handful of o/o on this forum that are spread out all over the country, what good is that going to do. They will only be hurting themselves. Unless you can get some serious backing it won't help to keep screaming at these people here.

Thank you very much for the slap in the face. Maybe I deserved it, and maybe I didn't. I am glad to see that I actually pissed somebody off with what I said. I guess it finally worked. Too bad it was the wrong one that it pissed off. It kinda proves my point, doesn't it. There are only a very small group here that really truly give a shit about all of this. Those are the ones that take the time and energy to even get pissed off and offended. Should have known you would be one of those. You can slap my face and strike out at me all you want to, but if you take time when your done to read between the lines and look at what is going on, you might see something a little different than you did the first time. Looking at the C-Span thread might help too....Maybe not. I apologize Bandit, I guess i'm getting a little touchy these days, all I know is i do everything i know to do and what you said felt like a slap in my face. I'm sorry. I just don't know which way to turn anymore. Please forgive me. Damn, i can't have one tantrum without you coming back and making me feel bad. lol Another thing, If we tried to involve JB Hunt or any of the other ones, who do i need to contact. Who can make this decision for these larger companies, heck it won't hurt to put a little pressure on them..Also, I do believe that if people knew the real trueth about the gas prices and the government has been feeding us all the BS about supply and demand for so long, that they just might get pissed off enough to do something. It's one thing to believe what the government says and then to find out they have been lied to and that they are intentionally letting these people rob us.

I am only speaking for myself. I am angry and frustrated. My wife thinks I'm pissin in the wind. I probably should have called big outfits and unions. I guess I figured if they were gonna jump in they don't need me to tell them or they're just too scared. But I will try.

I'll tell you why.
I've never started a fight in my life or ever threw the first punch in a fight. If I had more than 3 seconds to try to talk some sense , I did. I always give fair warning to my opponent and that's when fair ends. I'm small so I don't fight fair. When it's over I can sleep Knowing I did everything peaceably possible and they were warned.

Remember, I'm talking about how I handle my bizniz.

When the time for talking is over I'll resign my membership here and you won't hear nuthin else. I struggle with what might happen if the talking doesn't work. I worry about unintended consequences. That's why I try, so I don't ask myself "Did you do everything you could before the can of whoop-ass was opened?"
Believe me, I ain't skeered. I just know how easy it is for things to get f___ed up.

I don't know either. About 95% of this country has to be hurting. Families with kids, getting groceries, trying to get to work and back... I don't know if they're just waiting for someone to standup and take the first punch but sumthins gotta give...soon.

There is no need to appologize. If you truly believe, knowing me as you do, that I was calling you nieve & stupid, then you have every right to be pissed with me. Don't appologize for something you feel strongly about in your heart and mind. I was simply saying that when all the smoke clears, you will see that all of your congressmen and reps have known for years exactly what is going on and why it is going on, and most importantly why is will continue to go on until someone revolts against it. They will act like they are doing everything they possibly can to help you, but they just can't get it done because the other side is blocking them. Sorry TNT, but I think you need to read Bandit post again. He's say want I've been saying ...... something needs to be done to put the fear of god in the lap-dogs. If the trucker shut it down all across the nation for even a day, for even two hours ...... with the message "We will shut the door of every business in the nation if you don't start lessening". This isen't any longer a trucker's problem, this is our nation on it's knees about to get it's head lobbed off.

Hey we are all getting a little ragged around the edges over this, but you have to agree, if we can't get one million people writing letter, and flooding mailrooms at the capital building ......nothing, nothing is going to be done to stop the SOBs. The truckers in Europe and Asia are getting all the attention, right, and why? Because they are scarring the hell out of the powers to be. There are people in every high places with more money than Bill Gates could ever imagine having. They control the movers and shaker, they are the chess masters. They move a piece and the world changes over night.
We are not going to get enough people on this website to letters to make our lap-dog to get up off their knees long enough to stop kissing the asses of the oil sicks to look around. I see that now, that why I want on my tangent. I think that we are spinning our wheels.

Sorry but I think we're not getting the message across strong enough. The message about the Bakken Oil Field is not being lessened to. Congress knows it's there, but don't for some reason want to talk about it.

What I keep seeing it that the pieces are being put together to give us the North American Union by 2012 which is the starting date of the master plan.
