The Coalition plans on making a plea to the Northeast Governors to press the President 'together' to move expediously in this fuel crisis. They have already met with Governor Baldacci individually and will be meeting again with him in June before the July Northeast Governor's Conference.

TODAY we ask all people to contact each of the Northeast Governors including Governor Baldacci in asking them to unite on behalf of the Northeast and send the President a clear demand for immediate relief from this fuel crisis and long term solutions as well. There are only eight. Be brief, respectful but proactive. We will be doing the same!

How about posting a form letter that we could use for this and send to all our contacts using notepad so that everyone could pass this along? With a simple editable form letter it could increase productivity tenfold.

Just finished calling all N.E. governors 10-11 am on 6/2/08. Mostly positive responses notably RI office whose son-in law is a local driver. NY asked that we send in writing.
