I have been lessening to the Senate Investment Committee on C-Span 2, for the last two days, and from want I can tell many of our Congressmen are stuck in low gear and can't get up to speed. They act like they're not aware of just how bad things are out here in the really world. America is fully aware that this nation is suffering from the poor management practices of the Corporate Congress and we need to say so.

I have found how we can contact both the Democratic National Committee, and the Republican National Committee. I am asking everyone who spends any time, even if it only to look around, to contact both parties and explain want needs to be done to repair the damage they have done to OUR America (I hope it is still OUR America). Everyone of you must let them know that America is watching, that we suspect that many of them are behaving in a Treasonous manor. That we demand that they stop the rise of fuel prices, no, that they lower fuel price by whatever means necessary, even if it means nationalizing the oil industry in America. Gasoline, and diesel are the driving force behind America's success in the world. It is NOT something anyone should be aloud to turn on and off for the sake of greed and outrages profit, not at the cost of this nation and it's people!!

We know that both the Democratic Party and the Republicans Party have heard of the Bakken Oil Field where 500 Billion Barrels of Light Sweet Crude Oil is wanting to be brought on line in volumes that would release America for the need to import oil from OPEC. Our Congressmen, both Republicans and Democrats are not doing the job they have been hired to do, and that is to cover America's back while Americans struggle to make ends meet. Some of the alterative fuels are a good idea, other's are not. BUT right now America is dying on the vine and our government is doing nothing to help right now, nothing! The Democrats are proving that they are just as corrupt as the republicans in dealing with a problem of their own making.

Most America today would agree that many of our Public Servants, both in the Democratis and Republican Parties are behaving in a treasonous manor. They can run, but they can't hide. The cat well come out of the bag even if it's only one leg at a time. America's are tired of having the Oil Industry crapping in our sandbox every time we start having fun.

I've said it in other posts, that we need to flood them with phone calls, letters, emails, and faxes by the hundreds of thousands. Otherwise it will be business as usual. They are already saying that there is no end to rising fuel prices in sight.

The currently outrageous oil prices are being driven by speculators in the financial markets. Soon their bubble will burst. The sooner, the better.

Just like the commercial real estate development bubble, the dot.com bubble, the housing bubble, the sub-prime lending bubble, and, on occasion the stock market bubble all burst, so too will the oil bubble. The wheeler-dealers that are getting well now will get soaked if they stay in the game too long. It will happen. This all began during the summer when Katrina and Rita hit the Gulf and the speculators learned how much money could be gleaned from perceived shortages and predicted disruptions of the flow of oil.

I am usually against all government intrusion into private business affairs. However, fuel is such an integral part of our economic stability I have developed the attitude that treating it as a government regulated utility might not be such a bad thing.

Well they want to start another program for the farmers, but sad to say I don't think we need anymore pork deals. It will only help the filthy rich ones. I love it when a farmer cries how tough it is when he has a new combine and tractors and pickups. I think this year will bite most of them in the rear. With the weather as crazy as it is, I don't think the yields will be so good, and if the insurance is like in Katrina. We may all be looking for food sources.

Be my guest.

After lessening to the Senate Investagation Comittee on C-Span2 yesterday and today I'm very concerned. We need to floor our Congressmen with thousands of phone calls, emails, and letters. They know about Bakken Oil Field, but Congress and the media don't want to talk about it. This leaves me to think that we haven't seen the worse yet.

Did you read my post about the city, state, and federal retirement funds are being used to speculating on crude oil. They started buying at $60 and sold their first round at $110, making billions for the Congressmen's retirement funds.

The top three managers in the commodity speculation markets personaly made over $3 billion income each last year in crude oil market. The Arabs are speculating on their own crude. Like the real estate market, the commodity markets are unregulated. We can thank Reagan for that.

I've been at this for three day and two nights. I've getting a little wingy around the edges, and need to get some sleep. I checking out for the night.

over & out.

folks: it is a set up by dictatorship Congress working with Corp's AGAINST the people of the USA; re farmers: some need it, they get little, over $16m or $16b given to the wealthy which they promised they would not due; the pages are over 700 & they thought they could get away with it; there is no accountability cuz no one will take responsiblity; over & over & over ad naseum; Look at the head of Fema: Bush says good job! he puts a man in office to stop prosecution of Whistleblowers; the man not only does NOTHING on over 100 whistleblower reports; he unjustly penalizes or fires person in his office who blows the whistle on HIM; He did a good job, he's a good man says "Bush, after the man is finally brought to "justice" but NOT FIRED or fined; he leaves citing family reasons after so much time; all seen on C span folks; so was Doan: who said like Hillary "i do not recall" Hillary Clinton was up for obstruction of justice; she couldn't remember 59 times; they did not prosecute; they DO NOT prosecute hardly anyone; & they can't impeach Bush & Chaney cuz THEY (congress) are as guilty as they are! votenader.org is site for Ralph Nader; saw him on C-span he has been an advocate for the PEOPLE for a very long time; but a new President will not make much difference til we get a new Congress; need a new PARTY: & the laws current political parties have set up (the lawmakers are the lawbreakers) have pretty much made it impossible for any other party but them to be elected;

I will tell you something else; I am above & beyond FED UP with judges twisting everything; not all judges are crooked but a lot of them are; and consider the bankrupcy laws; harms the debtor; BUT NOT CORP BANKRUPTCIES; Congress has even given Corps "personhood" to NOT be charged as BUSINESS! Folks: LEGALIZING illegal activities: LEGALIZING THEFT! AGAINST the citizens of the USA; public domain; credit cards ignoring usury laws: ignoring overgouging laws; ignoring collection laws; brought before Congress repeatedly Congress DOES NOTHING: lets GET RID OF THEM! I am extremely vocal folks: I tell them they are criminals; & they will be hunted down just like the Nazi's were. I am FED UP with both parties joining up with consolidated Corp's ruining lives, everywhere. Lets talk torture: a friend of mine worked assembly work in Ashland Ore at Drill Doctor; folks came to try & persuade them to send work to China; showed them pictures of productivity increased by zapping workers with electricity; whether cattle prod or taser I do not know; THAT is the reason so many jobs sent overseas; cheaper labor & more productivity due to TORTURE. All condoned by Congress & our Gov! working along with Corps; I absolutely delighted in a treat that was getting a Sunday paper, drinking coffee & reading cover to cover; this to me was a treat cuz I am a tightwad; when I learned our local paper sent calls overseas when closed I never have bought another paper of theirs; I go on line to read occassionally but ours is so censored & so pro Gov as is I ignore majority of time; unfortunately for me the other local paper in Ashland is owned by same folks; it is the PRINCIPLE. I WILL NOT give them a CENT; nor will I do business with AT&T; they laid off long time employees; hired a bunch gave minimum wages no benefits years ago; have NOT got a cent from me since then; RESISTENCE means just exactly that; in every single aspect & in every possible way; won't go into Circuit City same reason; make my own laundry soap cuz it's cheaper, quick, fast, & easy; & they are OVERBILLING you just like on gas, cuz YOU will pay it; DON"T do it; JOIN the RESISTENCE in EVERY POSSIBLE conceivable way;

This thread was meant to get the information that members need to reach their Lap-Dog Congressmen, to remind them that we know that we have enough Crude right here in the continental U.S. .... that we wouldn't need to import a drop of the OPEC Terrorist's oil.

We already know about all the other evils of the world. We are here for one reason, and one reason only .....to make everyone on the planet aware of the corrupt fuel prices and how they are effecting our daily lives. We are all praying that god might take a moment out of his/her busy day to give us a hand in dealing with the greedy SOBs that are driving this nation into the ground. We're not here to bitch about every other atrocity that is going on in the rest of the world. I don't need to be inspired by stories of how bad in is in the rest of the world.

I what to hear that the forum member are using this information, and that they are emailing it to everyone one in their email address-books. spreading it around the planet. We can make this spread like a wildfire if we work at it. Yes we need ot get out on the streets with signs, and to use our CBs.

I know there are those who means well by telling their stories about workers in China being shocked with cattle prods, or that we all need to be growing veggies, but its not being productive right here right now. Once we see that we are being effective we can talk about making the world a better place for all, but right now let stay on the subject.

I think I've done all I can do for now, so I'm taking the weekend to work on my veggie garden, finish putting in my well, and maybe if there is time go play in the snow.

Yellowbird please start your own thread, please.
