I worked for Ford for 10 years and they shut my plant down. I started driving about a year ago. Wow did I start at the wrong time.

If everybody did their own research on these candidates and ultimately voted for the person they felt would do the best job, there is no doubt in my mind that Ron Paul would be the next president of the United States, and many of our current problems would begin to disappear.

Truckers may never successfully shutdown all together, but they could unite and accomplish something like this with enough effort.

But don't stop there, make a difference with every elected office in November, there are many up for re-election.

I dont think Fl. should be allowed to vote.
They keep screwing it up over and over again.
I was the only one not laughing when South Florida wanted to spilt the State.I thought it was a good Idea.
They Have Miami amd we have Disney.
I'm not voting this time. ( for Prez )
I turn the T.V. off alot now.
Everyone of them r scared to say anything.
And if they do it's the same B.S. with the words changed around.
Some one need to stand up and start talking about how to fix what they have broke.
And start putting ideas on the table with out worry about who might like or not like it.........................................
And we need more control over the prez.
And you all need to remember this Wedding, because they r setting him up
for office.
He will start to surface in about 8 years
Jeb cant do it. Thank-you God.
George and what he did to Fl. for George took care of that.

You know I live in Florida and I wasn't asked if we should disobey the rules for voting they just did it. But why should my vote not be counted just like yours. Does my vote not matter as much as yours? We (the voters) have taken the blame for the last 2 election screw ups and it's not us it's the F@@@@@g people that are supposed to repersent us. (but they don't) So when you talk about us talk about them.

Maybe maybe not.
My husband is back in it only because he cant find other work.
These guys have years in it. I think alot of them are tired of it.
mine put it under lease only because it was the only thing to do.
He hates it on the road, He just does it now.
For the pass 10 years he just ran the state. and was almost home
every night. befor that he was o.t.r. we use to go with him in the summer.I was a mom first. Raised my son.
I cant go anymore, years ago that's what we wanted to do.
He still has me ck the papers everyday to see if any jobs are showing up.
We have a flatbed for sale. 4month's now chains, straps, tarps,Tree tarps and tree stand. All alum. It's worth more for us to cut it up.
If it sold he wanted to set up a moble truck repair.for him and our son,
but now after the baby is born, our son is pulling out.
And everyone else we know who parked and did it our hurting.
If the trucks are not running and making money they cant pay to fix them.
Sat down and worked some numbers last night. after all is said and done he's running for about 76cents a mile, not counting a little bit of food, smokes and a soda .Sucks big time.

Hello to all, As a newly licensed cdl driver I find it amazing that our "leaders" won' help the average working man. We are the ones who pay their outragous salaries and yet we get crapped on. Wonder if having a Texas oil millionare in the white house has anything to do with all this. Guess that money I spent on cdl school will not be put to good use for awhile. The whole thing really stinks!!!

Illinois has been quoted as being one of the highest priced states for any gas or fuel. Lastweek fuel was $4.59 at the cheap place, now it's $4.76. Stay clear or get fuel before you cross the line.

I tried to get my boss to shut down a month or so ago for the "shutdown". His comment to me was that it wouldn't do any good. I told him that "it's because of people like him that these things never work"! I guess I better pipe down or I may end up with the Jevic boys looking for a job! I will be praying for all you Jevic employees!

Mexico is having civil war Bush gave $500m in aid; we are told it is a drug war; but I spoke with Mexican gentleman who bitterly hates Clinton & Bush; Mexico has own Constitution; & Article 25 which said only citizens could own land & had water rights; Clinton (bill) went down & $ changed hands apparently & large Corp's from USA there flooded their country with cheaper corn than they could sell their crops for; forcing them to lose their homes & lands; then along came Large Corp's who run our country basically & bought up the land and voila! suddenly corn is at an all time high; coincidence? NOT. I told him our Gov has lots of problems but go after & get the large Corp's to who apparently get all the $ all the time; same ones; they also own abc, cbs, nbc so that is the reason for the news censorship folks; the fuel price is set because the Corp's wouldn't be offering $2.99 a gallon for gas for 3 years prior to the Pres going to his buddy House of Saud to see about getting more production supposedly; Not democracy, is slavery to the Corp's; & the wealthy courtesy of our Gov. Saw the man from Indiana with oil well in back yard saying anyone can do it; lets us the people get together; & do it; there is & always has been oil enough in the USA we have never needed to import; it is all simply to make the wealthy, wealthier; Congress refuses to prevent price gouging, or overbilling interest rates; the winds of change are here folks; lets ride them & CHANGE this country for the better!

by the way, this country was NEVER set up for the people to be taxed; it was set up for big business to pay them; instead the same folks who owned the huge plantations down south, the wealthy, got together with Congress & work with them to get the profit & tax the people; lets all not pay taxes (we can get the forms) and use the $ instead to make oil wells! It will be a PEOPLE Project!
