That stunt they pulled on this site the other night was the last straw for me what have they actually done anyhow besides call people names,threaten people, and lie about their accomplishments?

Charlie Claburn is the organizer of a large group in New York. They adopted the title Truckers and Citizens United of New York last May before my brother and I (The American Driver) stepped away because of the destructive nature of the PA's leaders. As I understand it...each state is it's own organization. Each becoming a member of an umbrella organization (TACU). As to who is really in charge of TACU, I am not exactly positive - I do not know all of their committee rules and by-laws. But it is obvious at this time that Mark Kirsch is the director of the national chapter. And therein lies the problems we all see.

Our communication with Charlie Claburn has proven to us there are many members of TACU which are in agreement there is a problem within their leadership ranks, and steps are being taken to correct this issue. Without going into details for obvious reasons, I can say this...if the action discussed is carried out, the current problem will become part of history and everyone can then carry on with our efforts in a positive direction.

I am in complete agreement with your assessment, and fully understand and respect your position. But the problem does not ring true throughout the members of TACU, and thus warrants an attempt to do something about this. I, nor my brother, wouldn't feel right if we did not try to do something. We feel it's in the best interest of all to at least attempt to correct this destructive nature effecting all of us. If we fail...we can at least stand up proud with the understanding we did make an effort.

Just wanted to say "Hello" to everyone.. I've spent some time getting alot of things caught up on around the house.. Just as i got caught up on things, we started having computer problems.. darn thing would just turn it's self off and on.. After a couple of weeks hubby finally figured out it was a short in the reset button so we ordered a new case and yesterday he transferred everything from one case to the other.. So i guess we're back up and running..

No issues with the thread at all, but the home page of the site pulls the threads from the "news and issues" forum to post as news on the home page.

Looks kind of goofy when the top news story on the home page of the site is "lets just talk" LOL.
