As expected, the commissioners who oversee the Port of Los Angeles voted Thursday, May 15, to ban owner-operators by the end of the year 2013, with the transition set to begin Oct. 1 this year.
and so it begins. this is what they all want to do one day. getting rid of the independent contractor is just another way for the gov't to have total control.
