Oil prices set a new record today at $138.75, also setting a new record of $10.75 for Friday, the biggest single-day gain in oil price history!

The Dow Jones fell to about 410 points before closing at a loss of 364.64 points. The worst loss in stocks for 2008. The previous 2008 loss was 318 points on Feb. 29.

The Dollar is collapsing against the Euro losing about 3 cents since Thursday morning. The European Central Bank has said it will raise its interest rate in July. This will collapse the US Dollar further and cause a further increase in oil prices. Speculators jumping on board are hoping to see the Dollar collapse further and oil prices soar further.

I'm sorry about all this bad news, but I thought you should be aware that the slight relief we saw last week ended in a big way. This is truly a sad day getting sadder.
