I will keep it short and sweet, they will lie straight to your face and then they will ruin your dac report and boldly lie. I enjoyed my Dispatcher, she was great, got great miles and she got me home when I wanted. Truck sucked, terminals sucked, and they would always route you to the main terminal in Wisconsin. I quit after being involved in a non-preventable accident, I was hit by a red light runner, deBoer would not return my calls, would not advise my on accident issues, they basically left me out to die.

Wow, I worked for Deboer and I think they are great. Not the best trucks in the industry but a very good company I thought. Sorry that happened to you.
What is a dac report?
Here is a little "official" information about it:DAC Transportation Employment History Database
In a nutshell, former employers can submit information on you for many things such as abandoning a truck and unsafe driving (just two of many things that can be listed on this report about you).
It is a bad system because your only course of action when false information is placed about you is legal action. Companies can basically say anything they want about you, and most companies that you go to for future employment will use what they see on this report to determine whether they hire you or not.
Not every company is required to report to DAC either. ATS just actually showed us ours last week, and the only thing on mine was the start and end dates for a company I worked for from 98-03.
Not all the information on a DAC is bad. Some of it just is what it is.
But, yes, all kinds of things can go on there. Cargo claims, if your truck was parked and hit, and you weren't even near it, etc.
It is a bad system.
Also, I know this thread is way old, but why the hell would this guy put the "This thread is worthless without pics" thing in his own post?
