However, I've never had a job that only paid 10,000 for a years worth of work, as well as the fact that I havn't had ever had the need to lie on an application or have I had to drive with out a liscense.

I'm not nor have I called you stupid, just suggested that perhaps, trucking just wasn't for you. Have a nice day.

Trucking IS FOR ME. CRST is just a hell of a place to work for. I can deal with them treating me like shit, I can deal with sitting for a couple days, as long as im making money. I could even deal with making just a couple hundred a week (after i eat). I can't deal with not being allowed to drive when im in an area with freight, because of something stupid. Team trucking isnt for me. CRST refused to ever let me solo. Oh, and I also can't deal with being forced to drive with someone that's going to scream at me constantly, like my last co-driver. Or with an alcoholic, like the one two co-drivers before that, who bitched at me because I only urinate in bathrooms, instead of in bottles without stopping more than once every 10 hours. Or a psycho thats going to get pissed off at me over scaling a load and storm off, like the one before that. And the one before that got sent back to training because she took out a set of trailer tandems on a fuel island, and fell in love with her trainer. I really wish she would have fallen in love with me instead! But, most decent people quit CRST within the first few months. Only the morons and dicks stay. Oh, some decent people do work there, but they arent looking for co-drivers.

I've never driven without a license. I got the ticket paid.

I LIVE IN MICHIGAN. Thats why i had a job that paid $10,000 for a year. I also had a job i worked for 9 months and i got $16,000 for those 9 months, but i forgot about it. (LOTS AND LOTS of overtime). its impossible to get a job over here.

And ok, I shouldn't have called you stupid. I'm sorry. You pissed me off, and I shouldn't have posted when i was pissed off. Ok?

Reading these posts about CRST brings back some memories. I worked for them in the mid 80's when most of the drivers they had were solo. Their big push for team drivers was just starting then. The equipment wasn't the best. All COE. No power steering, 58 mph downhill, and sometimes the A/C worked. I had one of the old GMC batmobiles if anyone remembers those. I have to be honest and say I made decent money when I ran solo. But they kept trying to get you to train drivers for them. I finally gave in and said I would train. Bad idea! After a month I told them no way I'm doing this anymore, put me back solo. They pitched a bitch about it but reluctantly let me go back to running solo. I was lucky to get 1500 miles a week after getting 3000 + before training drivers for them. I got tired of fighting with them about it and quit and went to work pulling a tanker.
I know absolutely nothing about everything

If more people will give good reviews of trucking companies like CRST, and if prospective drivers were to read those reviews and decide not to go to companies like CRST, then maybe those companies will find a shortage of drivers and change...

If anyone is happy there it's because they don't want to work or they want to go broke. You get paid twice a week they just can't tell you which week it's going to be. Good luck
I talked to the recruiter...sounded like a smug sob. Thought about it for 2 seconds and sent him an email and said no thanks..this forum confirms what I was feeling

I'm a member of that team.

Got hit head on on 54 near Pratt KS.

Took off our steer axle and put us on our side. Not a nice way to wake up, let me tell you.

For some reason, I lost my voice for about 3 days after it happened. I don't know why. I didn't scream myself hoarse

The safety belts kept me from getting hurt. I'm not too sure how well a net would have protected me.

The drunk that hit us lived. A genuine Act Of God.
