One of the nation's largest trucking companies is setting up shop in East Tennessee. Wednesday, Crete Carrier Corporation broke ground on a new $8 million dollar facility off Industrial Park Road in Roane County, an area county officials say is on the rise.
"We're at the crossroads of America here in Roane County and we're open for business," said Roane County Executive Mike Farmer.
It's Roane County's hot property -- the Roane Regional Business and Technology Park off Exit 362 on I-40. Since the exit opened last fall, it's helped catch the attention of companies looking for a new home.

For your information we already have two small shops located off of Exit 374 in Knoxville, TN. This new location will close the already existing terminals and probably keep all of the existing employees to run the new facility.
