He mentioned some things to ask when choosing a company like do they pay you if you are unloaded driving. He called it something that I can’t remember and mentioned a lot of other things to check. Can someone give some things to ask when being interviewed by a trucking company or should I say when I go to interview them? Thanks and keep on trucking. Hope to meet you on the road soon. |
Dead head is what you are looking for. Pay when you are empty. It should be the same loaded or empty. Think about it, you are still driving. Next time you go to the doctor, and find out you are not sick, ask him - since I am not sick do I still owe you for the visit.
I would hold off for a month or so on a trucking career. To many bigger companies are starting to cut pay and insurance programs to offset fuel costs
