Who has had problems with Pilot Fuel

Who has had problems with Pilot Fuel. We have had a very costly experience with the Valparaiso Pilot fuel center in the last two weeks after a very heavy rainfall to include 6 inches of rain in the area, We had water and algae that caused failure in all nozzles and lifted a head after a major miss fire. Pilot claims now we never even purchased fuel from them. We are going for damages and anyone who has had fuel problems from Pilot are welcome to join in a class action suit we are organizing. This will include the North West Indiana area. If you have purchased fuel from Pilot in this area and have had problems let us know.

If you have a lawyer, couldn't he subpoena the records from Pilot from that particular day and that particular pump (or whatever pumps draw fuel out of that specific tank)? That might give you some leads to check out.

But I am not a lawyer.

Ironman had a fuel injector go out..and he runs Indiana all the time and uses Pilot..would have to ask him so..could it effect a fuel injector?? I got no idea..

You can't fix stupid, BUT you can vote it out!!

Water is an enemy of an injector.

It would be something to look into.

Pilot will sidestep all issues here. They have no choice.

They have already changed documents to show they are good, I am sure. They now claim they have no record of us buying any fuel. to bad we have a receipt from them and also a charge to our company card

Water will take out injector pumps and injectors and the least damage would be nozzles. Water is only the one issue, Algae will multiply itself by double over night. It needs the water and a little heat. It starts off as small black specs and as it grows will become a slime. Bio Cide is the only thing that will kill it and cost about 50$ for a pint. If the Algae spreads to fast it will plug the fuel filters far before normal service intervals. By the time you figure it out you will have a serious fight on your hand to kill the crap. We had to change all our fuel hoses and do a couple of treatment to flush the complete system. This stuff will plug a injector if it gets past the filter

Ironmanswife, if you could check with Ironman that would be great, it's the Pilot on Route 30 in Valparaiso, right near the Valpo airport, north side of the road. When did he have the injector go out?
