Can I idle my truck here? State Idling Regulations

This seems to be a Heath and safety issue because we can't sleep we become dangerous on the road. We got to get our sleep after 12 hours work. Some say
we only drive but that can be be on the road anytime 24/7. This is a need which
has a great infuence on everyone on the road. We can't be held accountable. For any lost of sleep due to dicomfort. It is important for us to get this needed sleep for the safety of all of us. The government of california has a web site if you can get here you can express your feeling about this. And, this is every drive who comes to California.
It doesn't matter what state you come from if you drive in the state of california. You need to vent your feelings of the danger of a lack of sleep. DOT has a site also there must be something there to vent your feelings. But, remember for Health and safety reason only. If you life in california you need to contact your congressman and vent.

It also seems that if they can give money to the oil companies for research they can subsidize the price of diesal fuel to move american. Many other americans can lose there job if we can't get product to our customers. It is very important to save truck so other americans don't lose there job. Notify your people in government where ever that is and tell them if you don't move america everyone loses. Every union, company, that has an connection to this program must reallize that we must move america to survive. Talk to every delivery point personal you can talk to, make them understand. America needs us.
This battle involve your lifestyle and every thing you or anybody in your family does has us as the most important thing to make america work. TELL EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband has heard from various sources, that if you have an animal in your truck, they have to allow you to idle. Not providing heat/air is considered animal cruelty. Has anyone else heard this? Messed up world??

The union does not care about us.(unless your union) If your a company driver, call them tell them you are feeling sick and you might need to call 911, tell them you need money for a motel room. and that they are putting your health at risk by sending you there, If your a indep. or o/Op tell them to stick it like we do.
