This is such crap. Especially when we're sitting on so much oil esp. in alaska. I say pump that oil and drop it.

what is crazy is when I go out west and see the pipe line in so many pieces. Fix it up and start pumping it again. Put our people to work and start refining again

i haven't had the opportunity to see that. that would be a site to see. makes you wonder what they are waiting on to do this.

Lets put it this way. When your driving and see this huge pipe that looks like a snake following the terrain for miles it is amazing to see about 40 foot long sections that have been removed and just sitting on the ground where they had to have been cut out to separate them. I would say there are sections removed about every couple of blocks. I had to stop and ask a guy what this thing was for, and I was informed it was the old Alaskan pipeline.

seems like it would be cheaper to just fix this pipeline than keep paying these over inflated prices for imported oil.
