Update???
I'm bettin' on a dip-wad service technician (word used lightly) simply forgetting to pull the truck out before he went home.
My truck was in our shop yesterday while the windshield was being replaced . They were still working on it when I went by and had the shop foreman sign off the DVIR I filled out on the windshield . I told the terminal manager I'd be leaving at 4 a.m. today . Went by this morning and my truck is still locked in the shop .Now the terminal manager is on call and I could get him out of bed and have him come down and open the shop . But the truck was also due for the annual inspection after the windshield was replaced and they may have found something they couldn't fix yesterday . If that's the case I should have been notified . The terminal manager is always up by 5 a.m. . I'll send him an e-mail on the Blackberry then .

You guessed right . We have 2 mechanics . One is on vacation . When I was at the shop Tuesday afternoon my truck was still being worked on and the mechanic was crying about being overworked . When he is inconvenienced you can bet someone else will be inconveniced . The terminal manager was inconvenienced when I got him out of bed at 5;30 a.m. . I'll be an hour late for delivery but actual cause is over and hour and a half delay at the border due to a rejected PARS . I faxed the PARS from the shop at 6 a.m. , didn't get to the border until 4 p.m.
