I-94 truckers report damage to rigs

ST. JOSEPH — Truckers on the north side of Interstate 94 reported to police early Tuesday that someone was throwing concrete blocks at passing trucks.

St. Joseph Charter Township police said about six semi-trucks were damaged during the incidents, which occurred about 3 a.m. at I-94 and Lincoln Avenue.

Five windshields were broken and three truckers reported that their truck bodies were dented, police said.
The total estimated damage was about $6,000, police said.

I'll have to tell my dad that... he helped to build I-94 back in the 60's.
