    Heart touching story...

Chihuahua Puppy Saves Trucker From Fire
Updated: Friday, 29 Jan 2010, 6:09 PM EST

A tiny Chihuahua is being credited with saving the life of his owner from a burning tractor trailer truck.

While the owner is recovering from second degree burns at Baltimore Burn Center, the dog named Coco is fighting for his life at a Hagerstown vet clinic.

Four-month-old Coco is clinging to life in this oxygen tent, hooked up to a humidifier, and IVS.

    Coco died

I called the vet to make a donation for Coco, she said Coco died yesterday. Does anyone have info on the driver as to how we can help him?

So sad that the hero has died.

I have had many dogs as companions over the years. The last one I had was with me from the age of 2 weeks (her eyes weren't even open when I got her, her litter was orphaned and I nursed them with goat's milk) to the day she died 15 years later, and we were never apart, not a single day. She was part Blue Heeler and part Yellow lab, a very smart and faithful friend. She was my constant companion and even made my partner jealous. It has been 5 years and I still miss her.

I wonder what kind of stats are kept regarding the cause of fires in semi tractors? I know there are a lot of fires involving trucks, and that some are caused by diesel fired bunk heaters, some are leaking exhaust heating up the cab floor and some are electrical.
If you can't race it, play with it or take it to bed with you it ain't worth having!
