Hey, just wondering where or if you all have a chatroom you use while your parked or just at home to hang out online and chat? I know after I go solo and I'm at a stop online I'll be looking for something like that to pass the time. If not it would be easy to set something up with userplan or something like that.

I can add a chatroom if it looks like there is enough interest.

Going to move this to the site comments forum and see what kind of interest this generates.

I don't know that a chat room would add anything to the forums...It would more than likely lead to more spam...and undesirables "roaming" the forums.

And frankly I do not know of a good chat program that works well with vBulletin, as far as the free ones go. Also most that are available to this forum software is easily hackable from my understanding.

I know of a good one if we were to use one, and it works very well with vbulletin. completely integrates, and uses the memberbase. Requires you to be a forum member to be able to access it.

I feel we should at least have one and see whom uses it or not. Give a choice huh. I know if we did I'd be in there now, people could be sharing their day with each other. Locations, jokes whats been going on.

My girlfriends uses userplan and you can custom the rooms to whatever you like with audio and video options. Make them public or private. There's always going to be hackers and trolls out there, can't not enjoy life because of them.

i would be up for it. then it least it would be at time chatter instead of waiting for a response by repling to a thread.

I will get this set up ASAP.

Have patience with it though as this is a fairly new trucking forum, and there isn't going to be a large amount of activity with it from the beginning.

A baby one on top of the page,
and a big one on the forum towards the bottom.
I like the baby one, it's new and good for people like me who can't type fast.
