Forums You Would Like To See Added To The Truckers Forum

If you have any ideas for individual forums that you would like to see here, post them in this thread.

The site will be undergoing a pretty significant facelift within the next couple of months, and after that I plan to take some steps toward a pretty significant "site launch". Once the site is redesigned, the next step will be to add and reorganize the individual forums, so post your ideas now.

A place for folks to talk about bad companies. You can start off with Paschall Services. They are ripping off O/O.

We currently have the trucking reviews threads area, but we are considering having a forum for as many trucking companies as possible, allowing people to start multiple threads relating to that company. Not so much a "bad company" forum, but for opinions from both sides to be posted.

One thing I do want to keep out of the forum is short, uninformative posts that are meant simply to bash any certain company (for example - "Stay away from SWIFT, they won't pay you"). I see that far too often on other forums, and those types of posts really don't help anybody.

I am all for posts about a company, both negative and positive, but posts about companies that don't contribute any value will most often be deleted.

That said,

do you like the idea of one thread for a company, or having an actual forum for each company?

Each company would most likely help folks more instead of searching through all the post in 1 forum. Things I would like the post are related to actual facts, not just saying they don't pay. I feel this would help other O/O to not fall into the traps we have.

set up web cam and charge peaple you might make enogh to quit driving and get into a more fullfilling carreir. I cant think of nothing better than get paid for doing it. Of corse I would have to be seen on a big screen TV that way you can at least see my manlyhood or lack of.

I will begin adding the company forums this week. Once that is done, I will move the review threads to their respective company forums.

Given the large amount of trucking companies, I will create forums for several of them, but not all of them. If anybody shows up wanting to discuss a company that we don't have included, it can always be added in at that point.
