Forum Update Coming Soon

In the next few days, maybe as early as tomorrow, I will be upgrading this forum to the latest version of the vbulletin software, and also updating the forum design with some finishing touches to make it look a little better.

Can you somehow "keep the light on" or in the front/top/jumping out at you when entering the sight, the upcoming events, i.e., 08-08-08 and then Americans Protest August 27th, etc. I know there is a lot of info, but if Americans who begin to wake up get to this sight because of what they have read posted on other sights, I would think it good if it is easy for them to see the info and get to the flyers so that they can help post them and make their yard picket signs, vehicles, etc. Especially if our older Americans are trying to see what we are doing and want to help (they have my heartstrings), There is also that white shoe-polish stuff that washes off of cars...

It will be completely cosmetic changes. Mainly updating the statusicons that show if a forum has new posts or not. It is hard to tell the difference in the current ones.

Got all the update files today. We will be shutting the forum down either today or tomorrow for the upgrade.

Well, did the update, and things didn't go quite as planned. Waiting to get some corrected files from the designer and the new design will be back up and running. In the mean time, we are stuck with this ugly default version

Ok, the design update is complete.

You won't see much of a change as I mention, basically just cosmetic changes in terms of updated images.

The status icons are particularly the biggest change I wanted to make, so when you are at the forum, you can easily see if a particular forum has new posts or not. Now the image will be red if there are new posts, black if there are no new posts.

Also, when you look at the "what's going on" section on the main forum page, all of those icons are changed as well.

Outside of that, all we did was upgrade the forum software to the latest and greatest to make sure the forums were as secure as possible.
