OK most of yall know that I am pregnant. Well I thought we had more time but the baby wants to come 7 weeks early. I set down and made a list of names that I kind of like but need a little shove in making the decisions on which names to go with.

I like either Colten, or Garrett. Both are favorites of mine.

Sounds like you are going with a Western theme here from the choices.

I would go with Colton in terms of spelling though, over Colten

Jimmy I was looking at that way to spell it too and actually had it written down LOL but forgot to put it up there.
I am not really feeling the Brayden/Braden name and it's odd that nobody else picked it too. So we'll mark it off the list.


I want to thank everyone that has voted and would like to encourage others to vote as well.

In the end maybe we can have people put who they voted for cause the choice it between the ones listed above.

Are these names from Your Family Tree??
If so then why not then pick a name of a few Generations past or you can be creative with Greek names or Egyptian names or something extremely different, like for instance some names from the bible.
Just don't use ambiguously challenging names or stupid yuppie goofy names.

It USED TO BE that people could figure ON THEIR OWN, what names to be used for their children.
I guess nowadays too many people haven't the ability to decide on their own.

Yup something like that.

basically all the names from past generations are already taken. We have a pretty good size family.
And we can "figure a name" on the baby but I wanted to see what everyone thought of the names picked from the poll. Just something different and see what people thought about them.

We have a general idea of the name we want as well and it looks like the other people that voted are going for the same name the husband picked out.

LOL it's ok I did ask for opinions and I got his. The part where he was telling me to pick a name from the bible was already an option too. Cause baby still needs a middle name and I think I have it.
