That was FACT that CH- ROBINSON's @%&$#*&ing the owner operator's of today! A O/O of today can NOT survive.... On the BROKERS loads.....

You run the MILES... TOTAL MILES 1490 / Divided by Total PAYOUTS - The Average pay per loaded mile is $1.30 per MILE.....

NO WAY can we survive like this...

Mr. Pencil pushing Brokers? BE AWARE... Im doing everything I can to get you back.......

    -OverTime

IM mad as hell and aint going to take it anymore!

You should have turned MORE miles... Driver.... ROFL...

    ONLY 2800? Whoosie.............. ( Sarcastic )

This is what the companies want us to do...

RUN our asses off for pennies on the dollar.... and also turn 90 HOURS, in a 70 hour RULE....

Many companies would CRAP and fall back in it if we actually RAN
( LEGAL ). And also Ran at State Posted Speed limits.......

I actually believe they are trying to KILL the industry... I really do...

None of this makes any sense....

    _________________________________
We're running more mile today, the same freight today with LESS of a freight rate, more REGULATION, MORE in TOLLS, FOOD, Expenses, ect...
And all for LESS the RATE it was 15 years ago....

I'll start posting my Settlements... I've went from FLATBED to VAN... For as long as I can hold out... BUT? I've gotta take our company in another direction.... SURVIVAL, is getting to be a word in the past...
    It's now... Sinking......, Sinking, Sinking....

This past settlement BASIC rundown is this:
NOT INCLUDING ( turnpike tolls ) or actual fuel deduction.

1490 MILES Ran for an average of $1,900... Thats = $1.30 AVERAGE give a little.....

BOYS, This is JUST operating costs, and this is WITH ( FSC ) in that Freight Rate that:

    CH-ROBINSON

    Was giving to the truck....

Put it this way... We've got a Great dispatcher who fights for the absolute best rate she can get... and this is what PISSED ME OFF, to the point I said... ( OH HELL ) NO!!!!!

Picked a Load through CHR - from Carslile, PA to Fairmont, WV
The load was 41,900 LBS and payed $300.00
Total POSTED miles on this load was : 230 I am thinking... If I remember right...
FSC in the RATE, and a Cash advance of $145.00 was taken with -$10.00 for that Cash advance..

The CPM ran is $1.30 per loaded Mile and again.. with FSC in that rate...
Needless to say we end up with this...

    $300.00
    -$10.00 =Cash Advance for FUEL
    -$120 = FUEL
    -$35.00 TOLLS
    -$60.00 DEADHEAD Home
UNIT # R400 Total Revenue on this load : $75.00

    So,
We also take $5.00 for IFTA TAX
and also $15.00 for Trailer usage,
    and also Driver/owner per-diem of $35.00

The TRUCK made a NET of : $20.00

And we will leave it at that!

The TRUCK Net was $20.00 - Mr TAX MAN? Your outta luck pal... no more moneys for YOU...

    THAT'S REALITY!!!!!!!!!!!!
    That's a BROKERED LOAD.......................

DRIVERS Take them everyday... And will even FIGHT for them....

    Boy's.. We've Got a problem.........

    All the best,
    Matt
