  1. A small update about me

    A few of you may have remembered me saying a few months ago, that I had been hurt on the job. Back in April I twisted my ankle pretty severely and had been off work.

    Well, that lasted until June and the DR finally had a MRI done, with the results of negative. Nothing showed up, so DR set me up for a FCE test (Functional Capacity Evaluation) this is a test they do on (Older or handicapped) folks to actually see what you are able to do.

    Why, did I become a Truck Driver?

    I really don't have a 100% reason why I became a truck driver. It was not because trucking was in my family because it isn't.

    My family is made up mostly of Gov. workers, and school teachers. Neither really were my cup of tea, as I really hated school and I am not interested in wearing a suit and tie to work.

    Although, I was a truck driving school - driving instructor for a while a few years ago. But it was not like a school ...

    You know I been doing this a while now. I am almost at the point where I want to quit for good, but *sigh* I can't yet.

    I have not won the lottery yet, maybe one of these day's I will.

    I by no means have been trucking long enough to really remember the "good ole day's", but I have been doing it long enough that I have seen a bunch of changes to the industry and the "Quality" of drivers.

    What is it with the CB Radio these day's? I hear ...
