Starting my Career with Central Refrigerator Inc.

Hey all, finally got my blog up and going here...(Thanks bullwinkle!!) wanted to talk about how things are going and my experience with this company and new career.
They bused me down to Riverside, CA which was well.. a grayhound bus ride that went for over 12 hours. They have put me up in a pretty decent Hotel with a roomate.
Its been 3 days since we started and really all we've done is spent a whole day filling out paperwork and doing different screenings... drug, physical, work well tests, criminal and others. Work well tests were actually tougher and really wore me out.. alot of lifting weight up to your waist and shoulders.. from 45 to 75 lbs, where they monitored heart rate and such. Was hard! Felt bad for some of the other new hires that were older or way out of shape. Next 2 days were pretty much spent talking about the permit test and studying for it. Plus many different videos about safety and other basic training videos you might expect from a big company.
Tomorrow were going to the DMV for out permit test then we'll be out on the lot driving for the 1st time and learning more of all this finally.
Can't wait!!!
