Day 12 and the last day of school with Central Refridgerted Service....

Day 12 started out with them testing everyone they felt could pass the road test with the scores they have gotten so far. I actually had better score than most was tested and it was clear I still needed more road time with my gears. I sat around most of the rest of the day waiting to get more practice but they really just spent the day doing testing to pass those that could. About half of us still needed more fine tuning.

Day 13.. started out good, got more road driving in and worked out some of my kinks I was having with shifting. Instructor felt I'd pass this time so game me the go ahead to try again later in the day. Hour before the end I got tested and passed this time. Still a bit of trouble with downshifting but everything else was good. Next few days I got to orientation with the company and then down to DMV for my CDL. Then out to train with a driver.

Here's my oppion with the school. I felt the program has a lot of good going for it. Although they need to control how many students they allow to attend per week so the students can get the needed training in time allowed. I never felt I had enough road time at the end and will have to continue building my driving skills with the trainer. But all in all I learned a great deal these pass two weeks, far more than I thought I was going to. And I'm through the hard part of all this now, on to better things now.
